Loay police arrest street level drug suspect

A street level drug suspect is now in the custody of the Loay police following a drug buy bust operation last Friday, belated reports today, Monday said. Police identified the suspect as Jonathan Amoy, 27, of barangay Oriental, Loay. Elements of the Loay police station arrested the suspect after an anti-drug sting operation in Purok 1, Botoc Occidental, Loay. The police seized from the suspect, sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 0.18 grams and with an estimated Dangerpus Drugs Board value of P1,224. The pieces of evidence are submitted to the Crime Laboratory for testing and confirmation if the substance isindeed shabu. The suspect is now in the custody of Loay police and is now facing charges of violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
