Police arrest drug suspect in Calape Joint report by DCR, DSA, GAB

A street level drug suspect is now under the Calape police custody following an anti-drug operation on Thursday, May 7, belated reports said today.

Major Julius Garcia, chief of police of the Getafe police station, identified the suspect as a certain Randy Tesoro, 29, of Sitio Catiocan, barangay San Isidro, Calape.

Authorities seized from the suspect, several sachets containing crystalline substance believed to be shabu, with estimated weight of 0.15 grams and with Dangerous Drugs Board value of P1,020.

In addition to this, a P500 bill used as the buy bust money was taken by the police.

The confiscated substances were sent to the Crime Laboratory for testing to determine if, indeed, the substances are shabu.

The suspect is under the custody of the police as the former is facing charges of violation of Dangerous Drugs Act.
