San Isidro distributes P7M worth of SAP funds to beneficiaries

San Isidro town government hands out the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) emergency cash assistance in the amount of P6,000 each to 1,181 beneficiaries with a total amount of P7,086,000.

The funds were distributed to people severely affected by the pandemic.

The distribution of funds happened last April 24 to 25, 2020. 

San Isidro town is among the top 10 local government units able to release the SAP on time in Central Visayas, according to a report from the town government.

The SAP funds are sourced from the national government through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the same report added. MPIO
