Boholanos have been clamoring for transparency of the results of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests of Boholanos whose specimens are brought to Cebu. In this connection, The Bohol Tribune’s managing editor, Ardy Araneta-Batoy, early morning on Saturday, May 16, conducted on social media an informal survey with this question:

The stigma against individuals with very communicable diseases be it TB, HIV, leprosy or anything else is life changing to some point devastating. They need to be empathized. Don’t forget Filipinos are generally bigot even the more educated ones. This is the sad truth.
