UB starts classes on August 24

Enormous challenges have emerged, especially in the education sector, because of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

As a result, the usual way of doing things is no longer applicable, and innovative solutions have become crucial in providing high-quality education despite the circumstances.

The University of Bohol (UB) gears up for this challenge, ready to deliver high quality, blended education while ensuring the health and safety of its students, faculty, and employees in adherence to national and local guidelines.

In line with this, UB adapts to the new normal by offering a blended learning mode, utilizing its state-of-the-art Learning Management System.

This LMS caters to both online and offline teaching and learning modes that address students’ needs without compromising the comprehensiveness of its curriculum and its delivery methods.

It also includes tailored-fit preparation for Basic Education modules that are developed for online classes and homeschooling modalities.

The University makes it work through Distance Learning utilizing online, virtual classes, and webinars for those who have reliable internet access.

For those with limited or no internet capability, the offline mode of delivery is available.

Through this, asynchronous learning will be observed where students can work at their own pace without the need for face-to-face interaction.

Above all, the institution intends to sustain the provision of quality education anchored on the core values of Scholarship, Character, and Service in transforming lives for a great future.

Likewise, the University will make necessary adjustments fee-wise under this proposed educational setup.

To that end, the University of Bohol is happy to announce the opening of classes in all levels on August 24, 2020. The e-Enrolment starts on June 1, 2020.
