Leopoldo A. Blanco Jr. and company last May 20, 2020 at the Sangguniang Bayan Session Hall. Together with Atty. Blanco were DPWH Bohol 2nd District Engineering Office Assistant District Engineer Junibe A. Froilan and Planning Section Arch. II Junibe Froilan Jr. Discussed were the implementation details of the ₱15M multi-purpose building given by DIWA Partylist through Rep. Michael Edgar Y. Aglipay. Later that day, DIWA Partylist accompanied by the municipal officials visited the completed concreting of portions of Badiang-Lonoy Cainsican and Nabuad-Dait Sur barangay roads, each costing ₱2M funded by them. These road projects were products of collaborations of the local government and the barangay councils and endorsed by teamINABANGA to the DIWA Partylist for funding. Mayor Roygie expressed its deep gratitude for the realization of these projects which were aimed to enhance teamINABANGA’s local governance by providing additional facilities and improved connectivities to its constituency. Mayor Roygie Jumamoy recognizing teamINABANGA’s first line of defense in this COVID-19 pandemic, distributed foodpacks to 1,823 barangay frontliners across its 50 barangays. The barangay councils claimed the foodpacks each containing 10 kilos of rice, 10 assorted canned goods, 5 packs of noodles and 5 sachets of coffee. Mayor Roygie conveyed its gratitude to these barangay frontliners specifically members of the Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs) and those manning the barangay checkpoints for their untiring efforts in making sure movements of their constituents and visitors alike were controlled and monitored in compliance with the guidelines set forth in the Executive Order of teamINABANGA as one of the preventive measures to prevent local transmission of COVID-19. To help them in these trying times, teamINABANGA led by Mayor Roygie Jumamoy successfully sent ₱500 financial assistance to each of the 3rd batch’s 400+ LSI’s this week. Since the start of this program, teamINABANGA has already sent financial assistance to almost 1,500 LSI’s located in various provinces via money remittance centers. The initial list of this program was carefully validated and assessed in making sure only those stranded and qualified Inabangnons according to its guidelines were given assistance in line with Mayor Roygie’s order in helping the LSI’s cope with the strict guidelines of community quarantines in their respective places due to this COVID-19 pandemic.
