News Town News – San Isidro The Bohol Tribune, 4 years ago 1 min read 812 BETTER ROADS, KEY TO PROGRESS. The ongoing concreting of local access road from Barangays Cambansag to Baunos section, San Isidro town is now 40% complete with a contract cost of P 6,436,015.00 funded by DILG-AM 2019. Its total length is 500 meters with a width of 5 meters and thickness of .20 meter. Similarly, another concreting project of farm to market road from Barangays Cambansag portion to Cansague Sur, San Isidro is now 70% complete with a total length of 400 meters. The contract amount is P3,397,829.58 funded by the 20% local development fund. BNYU Development Corporation is the contractor of both projects. These developments are part of the roadmap to progress agenda of Mayor Diosdado Gementiza Jr., Vice-Mayor Filemon Mantabote, SB Members and the entire municipal government, this town. (Photo by Engr. Jay Artiaga) PROVIDING FOOD ON THE TABLE. The distribution of the 3rd round of relief goods to several households took place on May 6-8, 2020. During this round, the following were distributed: 50 kilos of rice and canned goods. The beneficiaries were 1,013 households from all barangays of San Isidro town who were not recipients of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) emergency cash subsidy in response to the national state of public health emergency crisis. The said endeavor was initiated by Mayor Diosdado Gementiza Jr. supported by Vice-Mayor Filemon Mantabote, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, municipal and barangay local government units.
