Another group of 55 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) arrived in Bohol this afternoon.
The group is in addition to the 127 OFWs who arrived last Tuesday (May 26) evening.
Alfonso Damalerio, ground commander of the Provincial Emergency Management Administration (PEMA) confirmed the arrival of the new batch of OFWs flown in from Manila.
Damalerio further confirmed that these OFWs took the flight that landed at the Bohol Panglao International Airport (BPIA).
Reports say that the latest batch of OFWs was flown into Bohol via an Air Asia flight.
A Capitol source also said that the repatriated OFWs will be placed under quarantine at the Bellevue Resort in Panglao.
Moreover, Damalerio said, all clusters of the PEMA were present during the arrival of the OFWs.
