At least 1,000 Boholano overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and locally stranded individuals (LSIs) have returned home to Bohol, Provincial Administrator Pioquinto says.
Provincial Administrator Kathyrin Pioquinto revealed the statistics in a press briefing on Friday (May 29) afternoon at the Capitol.
Pioquinto said that as of May 29, 2020, around 727 OFWs have arrived in Bohol.
The two (2) batches with a total of 116 OFWs have already returned to their families after completing the 14-day mandatory quarantine.
On the other hand, 611 Boholano OFWs are still undergoing the mandatory 14-day quarantine in resorts in Panglao, Bohol.
Pioquinto added that the 383 Boholano LSIs have returned home to Bohol as of May 29, 2020.
