The rule on the home quarantine pass (HQP) stays in Bohol.
This is according to Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez, spokesman of the Technical Working Group (TWG).
Lopez said that to avoid mass gatherings and to ensure social distancing, the HQP rule stays.
Lopez made this declaration following a statement released by the Department of the Interior and Local Government Sec. Eduardo Año who said that in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ), the HQP is not needed.
However, Año said it is up to the local government units (LGUs) to decide whether or not they would implement the HQP rule in their respective areas.
In Bohol, it is mandated that each household has one HQP which allows the bearer the permission to enter markets or similar establishments.
Also, only one person at a time per household is able to hold the HQP and this HQP entitles the person to purchase items at stores or markets.
