Police seize P42.9 M worth of suspected drugs in 2 days of operations

The Bohol police are able to seize P42.9 million worth of suspected illegal drugs in two days of operations from May 23 to 25, 2020.

In a report released on June 1, 2020, Monday, the Bohol police conducted a two-day Synchronized Enhanced Managed Police Operations (SEMPO) in two days last week.

This is the first large-scale synchronized police operation under the leadership of newly-minted Bohol provincial director Col. Joselito Clarito.

The huge portion of the total worth of illegal drugs confiscated is from last Monday’s (May 25, 2020) operations in Tagbilaran and Talibon. In the two operations, the total worth of suspected illegal drugs confiscated is P40.9 million.

The same reports say that a total of 32 operations were conducted in two days, which resulted in the arrest of 42 drug personalities .

All of the arrested drug personalities will be charged of violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
