Guv congratulates 2 women OFWs who gave birth while in quarantine

Gov. Arthur Yap expressed his words of congratulations to the two (2) female overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who gave birth while under quarantine.

A Capitol report identified the two women as Ma. Jife Mosqueda Cabante and Marilyn Rible.

These 2 women gave birth to a baby girl and a baby boy, respectively.

According to Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez who is the Capitol spokesman on Covid related matters, the baby girl is named Marcela and the baby boy is named Clay.

Cabante, 38, gave birth to her baby girl last Sunday, May 31, 2020, at 3:35 a.m.

Later that morning, Rible gave birth to a baby boy, at around 11 a.m.

The Capitol report said that the governor sent congratulatory messages to the new mothers including fresh flowers, fruits, and diapers.

The same report said that Cabante is from barangay Sto. Niño, Talibon, while Rible is from barangay Cawayanan, Tubigon town.

It was learned, further, that the two women used to work in the Middle East with Cabante working in Kuwait and Rible working in Dubai.

The two women were initially quarantined at Bellevue Hotel in Panglao town. (with reports from Primer)
