Mayor Baba bares his mantra: “BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY” on restarting of flights/ship voyage

Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II says there is a need to wait for the right moment to make a decision on the restarting of domestic flights and ship voyage.

He said it is “Better to be safe than sorry.”

The mayor made the statement in a radio interview over “Newsmakers ug Uban Pa” radio program today, on Wednesday (June 3, 2020).

He also revealed that the Tagbilaran City government already procured 5,800 rapid testing kits on top of the 2,000 polymerase chain reaction (PCR)  tests.

The tests kits will be used by the city government for the returning locally stranded individuals (LSIs).
