Police implement stricter security measures at Purok 2, Brgy, Dao, Tagbilaran as the barangay is now on lockdown.
City police chief Lt. Col. Mary Crystal Peralta said that the police will ensure that the lockdown policies will be fully implemented by having a checkpoint in the area.
The Tagbilaran City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) earlier, posted clear information indicating which roads that lead to Purok 2, are closed to the public.
On Thursday (June 4, 2020) afternoon, Tagbilaran city’s Mayor John Geesnell Yap II ordered the lockdown of the said area following the release of the RT polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) results of a senior citizen woman who tested positive of the Covid.
The woman is a resident of the said place and was admitted at the Allied Care Hospital Medical Center in Mansasa, Tagbilaran City.
