OFWs’ COORDINATION MEETING. To make sure that quarantine operations regarding returning OFWs will be according to established guidelines set by teamINABANGA and other regulating government agencies, Mayor Roygie Jumamoy presided over a coordination meeting attended by the Punong Barangays and selected members of the Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs) of Baogo, Ilaud and Luyo, Inabanga last June 11, 2020. This meeting was done via videoconferencing. Participants were refreshed on their respective duties, responsibilities and strict guidelines regarding management of their Barangay Isolation Units (BIUs) especially that there were already returning OFW’s undergoing 14-day mandatory quarantine in their barangay facilities. These OFW’s who came directly from Metro Manila were already negative of COVID-19 PCR Test and opted to be quarantined in the said BIU’s instead of at the quarantine facilities in Pangalo, Bohol. SOME THINGS ARE BETTER IN PAIRS. The teamINABANGA led by Mayor Roygie Jumamoy distributed 2 sacks of rice to each of the 4,179 families of the 50 barangays tagged as SAP left-outs. The distribution was done this past week. SB Members who were assigned to facilitate the systematic distribution per barangay together with some teamINABANGA personnel, regularly held a final briefing during meetings presided over by Mayor Roygie every morning to make sure the distribution will be as efficient as possible. The lady mayor thanked the 50 barangay councils for their support that resulted in the successful and smooth distribution. Target recipients of this program were those families from all sectors of the community who did not benefit from the social and other programs of the national government. This food assistance program was funded by teamINABANGA and partly by the Bayanihan Grant Program in line with Mayor Roygie’s project to help all Inabangnons cope with the effects of COVID—19 these past months. This is most especially that those SAP left-outs were also equally affected by this pandemic. (Inabanga Communications and News Service / ICoNS)
