More than 4,000 locally stranded individuals (LSIs) and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are already in Bohol after they arrived here since the province opened its doors to returning Boholnos.
The above information is based on a report from the provincial government. The figures are accurate as of June 16, 2020, according to the same report released during a virtual presser.
The provincial government allowed the return of the LSIs on May 17, 2020, based on the tracking by The Bohol Tribune. All LSIs, upon arriving in Bohol, are always subjected to a 14-day quarantine upon arrival with the majority billeted in the various municipal or city quarantine facilities. Of the total numbers of arrivals, there are about 1,128 OFWs that have arrived in Bohol and the others are LSIs , the report added.
