UNITED AGAINST COVID-19. Mayor Roygie Jumamoy of Inabanga, together with all SB Members never move without the unity of the people. This is well evidence by meetings done for the benefit of the town. One of these is the coordination meeting with all 50 Punong Barangays on June 17, 2020 at the Inabanga Gym. Others who are shown in the photo are the attendees like: MHO Dr. Edar Rospan Ajo, Nurse IV. Ma. Rolinda Melecio and MDRRMO Maria Evelyn Socajel. Moyor Jumamoy is very at home with the topics discussed: recent developments of teamINABANGA’s pro-active actions against COVID-19 especially the preparation, status and management of the municipality’s three Central Quarantine Facilities and 50 Barangay Isolation Units (BIU’s) for the surge of returning OFW’s and LSI’s. The content of the message of the mayor includes the following: to continue enforcing strictly the municipality’s preventive measures like barangay checkpoints, general curfew hours, total liquor ban, prohibition of all kinds of mass gatherings and all other guidelines contained in the municipality’s Executive Order No. 20, further extending the locality’s GCQ until June 30, 2020. Some other names are listed as part of the attendees in the meeting, like: 2nd District Congressman Aris Aumentado and his better half Mrs. Van-Van Aumentado (the duo distributed one sack rice and assorted canned goods to each of the 50 barangays to be used for all barangay frontliners. BFP-INB successfully responds to a fire incident. BFP- Inabanga Fire Station led by FINSP Francisco M. Manilag is always quick in its response speed as proven in a fire incident that happened early morning of June 15, 2020 at Ilaud, Inabanga. Fortunately, no one is reported hurt in the incident where the house of Alfredo Logroňo is involved and where damages are estimated to reach ₱300,000.00. As of this writing, the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Some town officials are being lauded during the response period like SB Member Jono Jumamoy and MSWDO officer Emma Samamco (representing Mayor Roygie Jumamoy) who immediately rushed to the fire scene and met with the family members. The officials are reported to have initially turned over assorted goods and grocery items for the family’s immediate needs. (Inabanga Communications and News Service / ICoNS)

(Editor’s Note: Per information gathered by The Bohol Tribune, the house owner, Alfredo Logroňo, met a vehicular accident on June 12, was admitted into the hospital, and was on comatose until his death on June 16, a day after a portion of his house got burned on June 15).

Tzu Chi Foundation Phils. donates resources to Team Inabanga. Tzu Chi Foundation Phils. is ver supportive to teamINABANGA. The latter’s resources are being beefed up when it received the donations from Tzu Chi Foundation Phils., Inc. last June 16, 2020. Inabanga Municipal Health Officer (MHO) Dr. Edar Rospan Ajo, Nurse IV Ma. Rolinda Melecio and medical personnel from Inabanga Department of Public Health (IDPH) representing Mayor Roygie Jumamoy are shown receiving the 50 pieces of Disposable Medical Protective Overalls, 67 pieces N95 Medical Face Masks, 50 pieces Examination Gloves, 65 pieces Isolation Caps, 25 pieces Disposable Isolation Gowns and 68 pieces Plastic Quarantine Show Covers. Mayor Jumamoy is always quick in conveying her profound gratitude to Tzu Chi Foundation Phils., Inc., who has been the town’s a strong and valuable partner since the 2013’s Bohol Earthquake, for its donation of medical resources. INABANGA AWARDS A CENTENARIAN. TeamINABANGA, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), is giving the Centennial Award and ₱100,000.00 cash to Lola Gabriela Melloria Celmar (seated on the wheelchair). of Nabuad, Inabanga. The June 18, 2020 awarding ceremony is part of the program of the town. Others in the photo are the officers presenting the award, namely: SWO 2 Maria Gemma Umpad, PDO 1 Harry Cabalda from SWAD Bohol and MSWDO Emma Samaco. Mayor Roygie Jumamoy of Inabanga has been endorsing all Inabangnon centenarians to the national government to benefit said program. The program is fully supported by the national program to aid Inabangnon centenarians in recognition of their unique way of living, worthwhile longevity and important contributions to the local community.
