The Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) reports that 37 drug suspects and 13 wanted persons were arrested following the conduct of Synchronized Enhanced Managing of Police Operations (SEMPO).

This was bared by police provincial director Col. Joselito Clarito in an interview with The Bohol Tribune on Monday, June 22, 2020.

He further said that the current SEMPO operation focused on illegal drug cases and tracking of wanted persons. The SEMPO was conducted from June 18 to 21, 2020.

The SEMPO is a simultaneous conduct of police operations among all police stations in Bohol, according to Clarito.

Clarito revealed that police stations here conducted 32 illegal drug operations where 37 drug suspects were arrested as a result.

He added that the police were able to seize suspected illegal drugs with a total weight of 14.03 grams.

It was further revealed that the estimated value of the seized suspected illegal drugs is placed at P97,240.

The arrested drug suspects are facing charges of violation of Dangerous Drugs Act, Clarito added.

On the other hand, Clarito said Bohol police were able to arrest 13 wanted persons. These wanted persons have outstanding arrest warrants coming from various courts, Clarito said.
