(Joint reports from DCR, DSA, GAB)

Col. Joselito Clarito reveals that the Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) is preparing to send some personnel to Cebu City to augment the police forces there especially now that the city is under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

According to the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF), Cebu City is under ECQ due to the rising number of cases of Covid infection.

Clarito revealed the information in an interview with The Bohol Tribune on Monday, June 22, 2020.

The Bohol police chief said that around 30 to 50 police personnel from the BPPO will be sent to Cebu City as an augmentation force.

He added that the police personnel will come from various police stations in the province.

Clarito said the sending of police personnel from Bohol to Cebu as augmentation force is an order coming from the Police Regional Office 7 regional director Brig. Gen. Albert Ignatius Ferro.

The provincial director said there is no date set when the police personnel will be sent to Cebu.
