124 LSIs, OFWs arrive in Bohol

About 124 locally stranded individuals (LSIs) and 63 overseas Filipino workers (OFW) arrived in Bohol through various ports of entry in Bohol, according to reports released today, Thursday, June 25, 2020.

According to Jagna Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), about 33 LSIs originated from Cagayan de Oro City.

The same report said that the LSIs arrived at around 5 am on Thursday via Lite Ferry 17.

In Tagbilaran, around 52 LSIs and 63 OFWs arrived at the Tagbilaran Seaport on Thursday at around 1 am, a report from BFP Tagbilaran said.

BFP Tagbilaran fire marshal Insp. Marlyn Macatangay told The Bohol Tribune that the voyage originated from Manila to Cebu and then to Tagbilaran.

On the other hand, in Tubigon, 39 LSIs arrived in Tubigon seaport, according to report by the BFP Tubigon.

According to Capitol information cluster head Kevin Damalerio the LSIs originated from Mandaue City.

The BFP Tubigon further reports that about 19 LSIs are from Tagbilaran, seven (7) LSIs are from Panglao, five (4) LSIs are from Trinidad, three (3) LSIs from Buenavista, two (2) LSIs from Tubigon, one (1) LSI is from Loon, one (1) LSI from Bilar and one (1) from Dimiao.
