The incident happened on Thursday afternoon, June 25, 2020.
In a public advisory, GCGMH medical center chief Dr. Mutya Kismet Macuno said that a patient “managed to open the bathroom window in one of the Isolation rooms of the Covid-19 wing.”

We shall issue updates as developments arise.”
The statement did not mention whether or not the incident was a suicide attempt.
