BPPO sends more personnel to, for Cebu City

Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) sends more personnel bound for Cebu City as augmentation force to assist currently deployed forces in the said city in implementing the enchanced community quarantine (ECQ).

This was disclosed by Major Jacinto Mandal, chief of the Community Relations Office af BPPO, in an interview with The Bohol Tribune on Friday, June 26, 2020.

The local provincial police office sent another 20 police officers to Cebu City as augmentation force.

The 20 police officers reported to the Police Region 7 Office based in Camp Sergio Osmeña.

Moreover, Mandal bared that the police officers left Bohol for Cebu via Tubigon port on Thursday, June 25, 2020.

The 20 police officers are on top of the 24 police officers from BPPO who were earlier sent to Cebu to become part of the augmentation force that will help implement the ECQ in the said city, Mandal said.

Aside from Bohol, the police offices of Negros Oriental and Siquijor also sent personnel as augmentation force to Cebu City.
