Island City Mall turns 16

ICM
observes its 16thh Anniversary sans fanfare because of the pandemic.

The ultimate shopping and dining destination in Bohol, Island City Mall marks another milestone as it turned sixteen last Friday, June 26, sans fanfare because of the pandemic.

Mall manager Mario F. Cirujales said this is the first time that the anniversary celebration of ICM was nothing but quiet and simple, and no store promo, sale, and other events or activities were conducted because of the social distancing rules, or in compliance with the ban on mass gatherings.

However, there was an online dance contest, dubbed as “Make Your Moves” Season 8, with more than 50 local dance groups participating with submission of their dance videos on the social media. The grand winners were Khim & Step who both received P3,000; while Zimplicity settled for the 2nd Place with a prize of P2,000. The runners-up who were given consolation prizes of P1,000 each are Vincent Noel & Fritz Jude, Michaella & Junivee, Ivan & Irene, Annie & Nica, and Sanika.

Since it opened its door to the public in 2004, ICM always brings out the best of everything, finds new concepts, rides with the changes and updates itself with the market demands.

Now, even in the midst of these trying times, ICM continues to serve and look forward for more to accomplish and achieve. On the occasion of its 16th Anniversary, the management and staff express its gratitude to all its valued customers for the continued patronage and contribution to the growth and success of the store over the years.
