Bohol officials support “Anti-Terrorism” Bill

Bohol officials are supportive of the “anti-terrorism” bill, according to the provincial director of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

DILG provincial director Jerome Gonzales revealed the information during the joint meeting of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti- Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and the Joint Task Force- End Local Communist Armed Conflict (JTF-ELCAC) last Monday, June 29, 2020 through a Zoom application meeting.

In the virtual meeting, Gonzales said the members of the PPOC, PADAC, JTF-ELCAC came up with a manifesto in support of the “anti-terrorism” bill.

Gonzales said that the manifesto was unanimously approved by the members of the three (3) councils.

It was also revealed by Gonzales that the “Anti-Terrorism” Bill is also supported by various Peace and Order Councils in towns and the lone city of Bohol.
