A locally stranded individual (LSI) from Candijay tests positive for Covid 19 via the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, according to a report from the Capitol.
Capitol said that it learned about the test results belatedly as the Department of Health (DoH) did not include the provincial government in the official transmittal.
The Capitol’s report said that the DoH decided to inform the rural health unit (RHU) of Candijay.
As this stands, Bohol has a total of 36 Covid positive cases since January 2020.
Meanwhile, the Capitol report added that there are 21 active Covid cases in Bohol after two (2) LSIs from Sagbayan, one (1) LSI from Balilihan, one (1) LSI from Candijay, and (1) LSI from Tagbilaran are considered recovered from Covid after testing negative in the repeat PCR test.
