Guv leads 1st PPOC, PADAC, JTF-ELCAC meeting under “new normal”

Gov. Arthur Yap leads the first joint meeting of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and the Joint Task Force-End Local Communist Armed Conflict (JTF- ELCAC) where peace and order, drug situation, and insurgency issues in the province were discussed.

The meeting, which took place on Monday, June 29, 2020, was virtual in nature where the participants used the Zoom application to join the meeting.

The virtual meeting was also attended by various Bohol mayors and representatives of national agencies.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the report of police provincial director Col. Joselito Clarito about the peace and order, drug, and insurgency situations in the province.

This is the first time that Clarito attended the joint meeting of the PPOC, PADAC, JTF- ELCAC meeting since assuming his current post last May 2020.
