Bohol is now under modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) following the pronouncement of President Duterte.
Duterte made the announcement. early Wednesday morning July 1, 2020. The MGCQ status takes effect today, July 1, 2020. Other areas in Central Visayas now under MGCQ are Cebu province, Negros Oriental and Siquijor.
Due to high number of Covid cases, Cebu City remains under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), the president said.
As of posting time, Gov. Arthur Yap is yet to issue an executive order aligned with the new quarantine status of the province.
