Inabanga LSI escapes from quarantine facility

The Municipality of Inabanga is reporting that a locally stranded individual (LSI) is able allegedly to escape from the town’s quarantine facility. The report was posted on the town’s Facebook page on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

According to the report, the LSI allegedly escaped via a blue pick-up vehicle. The LSI, the report said, was yet to be given a release order from the town’s medical team led by Dr. Edar Rospan Ajo.

The report further alleges that the LSI has yet to complete the 14-day quarantine and the result of the reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test is still pending.

The same report said that the LSI was subjected to RT-PCR test to determine if there is Covid infection or not.

Furthermore, the medical team said that the involved LSI is difficult to manage and often is “uncooperative”.

There are times, the report said, that the said LSI did not wear the face mask, and would speak in a loud voice since he or she arrived in the quarantine facility.

The local government unit (LGU) is asking the residents of Sitio Cadapagan, barangay Lutao, Inabanga, to be vigilant and alert. Police are now conducting hot pursuit operations against the “escaped” LSI, reports bared.
