Inabanga recovers LSI “escapee”

The Municipality of Inabanga reports that the authorities are able to track down and recover the locally stranded individual (LSI) who allegedly escaped from the town’s quarantine facility.

The LSI was taken back into custody hours after she escaped, according to the Facebook post of the town government on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

The same report identified the LSI who allegedly escaped as a certain Rodgelyn Geromo.

She is now in the town’s isolation facility in barangay Nabuad, the report from the local government unit (LGU) of Inabanga revealed.

On the other hand, the LSI’s live-in partner identified as Melchor Lofranco Bautista is now in the isolation facility in barangay Lutao, the report by the town government further said.

In a separate report, LGU Inabanga reported that it was able to track the LSI and the authorities cordoned off the LSI’s residence. This is to prevent the people who had close contact with the LSI from eecaping, the town government reported.

The same report said the police are conducting further investigation regarding the incident.

As of posting time, the LSI’s motive for escaping is yet to be determined.

Earlier, it was reported that the LSI proved to be allegedly a difficult person to handle by the LGU’s medical team.
