Inabanga irrigators receive payout from Gov Yap

Gov. Arthur Yap turns over the payout for members of an irrigator association based in Inabanga town.

The turn over of funds happened on Thursday, July 2, 2020 during a meeting which Yap attended and presided over by Inabanga mayor Josephine Soccoro Jumamoy.

The irrigators who are members of an association attended the said meeting togetger with the 50 barangay captains of Inabanga town.

The governor released P40,000 to the Mabuhay-Uog-Cantuyob-Ubujan (MUCU) -Ilihan Irrigators Association.

The funds are payouts for the members of the said irrigators association who were participants of the Cash-For-Work program for Communal Irrigation System (CIS).

Yap also distributed the certificates of completion and the payout to the members of the irrigators association who participated in the program during the said meeting at the municipal gym of Inabanga.

There are 143 members of the irrigators association and its CIS spans three (3) kilometers that serves 196 hectares of rice fields.

Aside from Jumamoy, several government officials were in attendance during the said meeting which included Vice-Mayor Ronie Jumamoy, First Councilor Jono Jumamoy, Provincial Board Member Frans Garcia, and Provincial Agriculturist Larry Pamugas.
