The provincial government is reporting that four (4) locally stranded individuals (LSIs) test positive for Covid infection. The report was released just now, Saturday evening, July 4, 2020.
The two (2) new cases are in Getafe and two (2) other LSIs are from Tagbilaran City. The four (4) test positive for Covid using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
Moreover, the provincial government was informed by the Department of Health (DoH) that two (2) LSIs in Candijay and one (1) LSI from Tagbilaran are still positive for Covid per repeat PCR test.
With the new cases, there are now 20 active Covid cases in Bohol, and a total of 42 Covid cases tallied in the province since January 2020, based on the tracking of The Bohol Tribune using data from the Provincial Health Office and the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force.
The report from the Capitol says that contact tracing activities are being performed as of this time.
