GETTING A NEW SEAT OF GOVERNMENT

Loay town gets a new town hall, which is more than a seat of the local government as it is a grand and enduring symbol to remind the people of the town that, in this place, they can readily access government services and help in case they need these. The heart of every Loaynon has every reason to beat with jubilation, since, on July 1, 2020, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) together with the townhall project contractor turned over the new town hall to the local government unit (LGU) of Loay. Doing the honors during the occasion are shown in the photo from left to right: Loay Vice Mayor Rodrigo Cubarol, Gov. Arthur Yap, Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Bohol chapter president and Board Member Jescelo Adiong, (partly hidden), Loay Mayor Hilario Ayuban, Acting Vice Governor Dionisio Victor Balite, and Third District Rep.
