Mayor Roygie Jumamoy is actively participating in the June 30, 2020 ZOOM meeting presided over by Governor Art Yap and attended by other Local Chief Executives of Bohol. Other meetings which the lady mayor has been attending are: the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and the Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (ELCAC). teamINABANGA has been closely working with the Provincial Government of Bohol and other partner-agencies in the fight against COVID-19 especially in the prevention of local transmission, regulation of returning Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI’s) and bringing back the economy of Bohol to its full gear. Art Yap (photo 2) who is very vibrant as he reports theCOVID-19 situationer report of the province, the three (3) current major programs, the Anti-COVID measures, Food Security and Water, and as he motivates the participants to help and join the province’s call to enter into partnership to lessen the effects of the pandemic. Some of the projects which the Guv. Wishes everyone to be partner of are: agriculture and fishery and the improvement of the barangay waterworks system. The happiness of the participants is very NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW. Rodgelyn Geromo (photo 5), a Locally Stranded Individual (LSI), housed in a Quarantine Facility in Nabuad, Inabanga is reported to have bolted out from the quarantine facility (photo 4) on July 1, 2020 with the help of Melchorito Bautista (photo 6), her live-in partner, onboard a blue pick-up truck. The members of the local police force and the medical team of teamINABANGA (photos 2 & 3) in full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are also shown as they quickly launched a follow-up operation and arrested the LSI with her live-in partner at Geromo’s residence (photo 1) at Sitio Cadap-agan, Lutao, Inabanga later that day. The LSI was brought back to said quarantine facility and was padlocked and isolated as she has not yet completed her extended quarantine period due to her exposure of the only confirmed COVID-19 case of Inabanga who is also housed in the same facility while her live-in partner is quarantined in Lutao Barangay Isolation Unit. Charges for violation of Republic Act No. 11332, Article 151 and 287 of the Revised Penal Code have already been filed by the local police against them.
