Suspected Covid patient from Inabanga dies

A suspected Covid patient from inabanga dies in the hospital, according to a post by the town’s first councilor Jono Jumamoy.

In a post on Sunday, July 5, 2020, Jumamoy said that a 55-year-old widow from barangay Dait Sur, died on Saturday, July 4, 2020 in the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH).

The councilor said the widow’s remains were buried immediately per protocol.

He said he hoped that the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test on the late widow turns out negative for Covid.

Just the same, Jumamoy said, contact tracing activities have been initiated to find the close contacts of the deceased who is suspected to be infected of Covid.

He ended his post by urging every person in his town to cooperate and follow minimum health protocols such as social distancing, wearing of face mask, proper hand washing , and to stay at home if there are no important tasks needed to be fulfilled outside of residence.
