A building is reportedly hit by fire at the Blanco compound, Calceta St., Cogon District, Tagbilaran City.
The fire hit a rice mill/bodega according to a report by radio station dyTR.
The fire happened on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 and fire probers placed the damage caused by the fire at P800,000.

Arson investigator Fire Officer (FO) 3 Dennis Calunia said the city fire station received the fire alarm at around 4:05 pm on Tuesday.
Reports say that the former LPBS Rice Mill that has been converted into a boarding house owned by a certain Leopoldo Blanco.
Initial investigation revealed that allegedly the fire started in the room of a certain Michael Aparece. Aparece was not in his room at the time of the incident.

Calunia revealed that electrical ignition may have been the cause of the fire.
However, the fire probers are still completing the investigation regarding the incident, reports say.
