Two (2) locally stranded individuals test positive for Covid infection, Gov. Arthur Yap in a report said.
The governor said he received information from the Department of Health (DoH) where two (2) LSIs one (1) from Buenavista, and another one (1) from Ubay. He received the information from the DoH on Thursday afternoon, July 9, 2020.
He said the two (2) LSIs remain isolated in their respective towns’ quarantine facility.
The governor added that the mayors of Buenavista and Ubay have been informed about the two cases as the Provincial Health Office (PHO) coordinated with the respective Municipal Health Officers (MHO) to conduct contact tracing.
In other reports, the governor said two (2) LSIs from Candijay and Loboc respectively remain positive for Covid in the repeat polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, the governor said.
