Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) head Col. Joselito Clarito is now a full-fledged provincial director (PD) after almost two (2) months of being an officer-in-charge (OIC).
This development was revealed on Monday, July 13, 2020, where the order to install Clarito as a full-fledged PD is effective July 10, 2020.
The order was signed by Col. Cydric Earl Tamayo, chief of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7.
In an interview with The Bohol Tribune, Clarito expressed his thanks to PRO 7 chief Brig. Gen. Albert Ignatius Ferro and Gov. Arthur Yap for their trust and confidence in his leadership of the BPPO and his effort to keep the peace and order situation here in Bohol.
It can be recalled that days after Clarito assumed his current post, the police managed to seize, in two (2) separate operations, more than P40 million worth of suspected shabu.
Meanwhile, reports say that two (2) officials soon will arrive and assigned at BPPO. The two (2) officials are Lt. Col. Jeffrey Caballes and Lt. Col. Rey Tiempo. They will be placed under 14-day quarantine before they can assume their new posts at Camp Dagohoy.
