1 Tagbilaran LSI tests positive for Covid

One (1) locally stranded individual (LSI) tests positive for Covid following the release of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) results on Wednesday evening, July 15, 2020.

Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell Yap announced the latest news via a Facebook post. The news comes after Capitol spokesman for Covid related matters Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez announced that there are no more active Covid cases in the city.

In his post, Yap said that the Covid positive LSI 25-year-old female from barangay Cogon. She originated from Cebu, and asymptomatic, the mayor said.

Moreover, the mayor said that all LSIs in Tagbilatan will be subjected to PCR tests to ensure that no one will be released from quarantine infected with Covid.
