Balilihan quarantined LSIs assure Chatto they’re ok

Balilihan Mayor Maria Pureza Chatto takes time to visit and greet the locally stranded individuals (LSIs) at the Municipal Quarantine Facility at Malasarte National High School.

She relayed the information about her visit in a Facebook post on Saturday, July 18, 2020.

“It felt good to see them waving their hands from a far distance as if telling me, they’re okey,” she said in her Facebook post.

She added, “May God keep you safe and free from the Corona virus!”

In reaction to the mayor’s visit, an LSI reacted to what the mayor did.

The Bohol Tribune withheld the identity of the LSI for privacy reasons.

The LSI commented, “Thank you Mayor Pureza Veloso Chatto sa pagbisita og pag pangamosta namo diri. Keep safe mayor & “Godbless!”
