Sikatuna mayor bares details on town’s 1st Covid patient

Sikatuna town mayor Justiniana Ellorimo bares details about the town’s first coronavirus disease (Covid) positive patient who is a locally stranded individual (LSI).

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, Ellorimo said that the LSI arrived in Bohol from Manila on July 7, 2020, via an Air Asia sweeper flight 22-8358, and occupied seat no. 19-B.

Moreover, the LSI had a swab test last July 10, 2020 and the result was released only on July 21, 2020, Ellorimo mentioned in the post.

“ Rest assured that this LSI is quarantined at the (Local Government Unit) LGU Quarantine Facility upon arrival and is now isolated in the LGU Isolation Facility. His close contacts were also isolated,” Ellorimo in the same post said.

Meanwhile, in a text message, Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez, Capitol spokesperson for Covid-matters said that the LSI is a 26-year-old male.
