Police report says that Tagbilaran police station and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) personnel arrested two (2) drug suspects following a drug buy bust operation in the city.
The buy bust operation happened on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at barangay Cogon, reports say.
Reports bare that the police identified the suspects as Jethro Prince Mayol, also known as Alyas Pogi, 32, of purok 7, barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City and Judy Pondoc, 33, of barangay Poblacion 2, Tagbilaran City.
According to the same report, a joint team composed of personnel from the Tagbilaran police station and PDEA conducted a buy bust operation on Thursday, which led to the arrest of the 2 suspects.
The authorities seized at least 12 plastic sachets of various sizes containing a substance believed to be shabu with an estimated weight of 29 grams and with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P136,000.
The 2 suspects are now under the custody of the authorities and will face charges of violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
