Telco ramps up network coverage in Bohol

Major telecommunication company (Telco), Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) and its subsidiary Smart Telecommunications ramp up its network coverage in Bohol in time for Bohol Day celebration this year, according to a report.

The same report said that all 47 towns and one (1) city of Bohol are already covered by Smart’s 4G/LTE network as this is part of the telco’s nationwide cellular network improvement program.

At the same time, PLDT rolled out its fiber optic network across the province.

The twin projects aim to improve not just network coverage but also internet speed for the firms’ subscribers in the province, according to the report.
