One Covid-positive case is from Loboc, while the other one is from San Miguel.

The case from San Miguel is considered as the fourth (4th) Covid-related fatality.

The mayors of Tagbilaran City and Loboc town were informed about the new Covid-positive cases.

On the other hand, the Covid-positive patient in San Miguel town was admitted at San Miguel Hospital on July 20, 2020 due to pneumonia and died in the said medical facility.

Yap mentioned that three (3) persons in Tagbilaran tested positive for Covid in their REPEAT PCR test. With the development, they shall remain in isolation and will not be released until they obtain a negative PCR test result.

There are now 25 active Covid cases, with 57 recoveries and four (4) Covid-related deaths.

Currently, the Provincial Health Office (PHO) has started the contact tracing activities together with the Rural Health Units concerned.
