Bohol remains under the modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) says Gov. Arthur Yap.
Yap made the announcement today, Friday, July 31, 2020.
The retention of the MGCQ for Bohol is based on the pronouncement of President Duterte, Yap said in a statement posted on Facebook and sent to media outlets.
Yap said that the MGCQ will last until August 31, 2020.
The governor said that there will be no changes in the protocols, such as the curfew on minors aged 18 years old and below and senior citizens aged 65 years old and above.
Minors may break their 24-hour curfew on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 am to 6 pm as long as they are accompanied by an adult parent or guardian who is not a senior citizen aged 65 years old or over, the governor bared.
Senior citizens, on the other hand, may break their 24-hour curfew during Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6 am to 6 pm.
All other health protocols remain the same such as wearing of facemask, social distancing, and prohibition on mass gatherings.
The one household one pass policy shall remain in effect during the MGCQ, the governor said in his statement.
