Woman allegedly stabs common-law husband

A woman allegedly stabs her common-law husband after an apparent display of rage in Carlos P. Garcia (CPG) town, a police report provided to The Bohol Tribune says.

The same report bares that the incident happened on Tuesday, around 2:30 in the afternoon at purok 2, barangay Poppo, CPG town.

Police identified the suspect as a certain Cristy Fortuna, 28, of barangay Poppo.

It was alleged that the suspect stabbed her common-law husband identified as Mark Anthony Sente, 40, also of barangay Poppo, CPG town.

Initial investigation reveals that according to a witness, who is the owner of the house where the incident happened, the victim was drinking water inside the house when all of a sudden, the suspect approached the victim and stabbed him using a knife. The witness pacified the suspect to prevent further injuries to the victim.

The victim was brought to the Don Enilio del Valle Memorial Hospital jn Ubay but later transferred to a Tagbilaran medical facility, the report says.

The same report says that the suspect was arrested and taken into custody and will face charges relative to the incident.
