RELEASE OF MID-YEAR ALLOWANCE.Photo shows the allowance for the Public-SchoolTeachers, City PNP, City BFP, and BJMP. For the City PNP, BFP, and BJMP Php9,000 less tax will be given, while the teachers will receive Php6,000 less tax. City Mayor John Geesnell “BABA” Yap emphasized that even during the pandemic, the City Government of Tagbilaran will always recognize the efforts of the City’s frontliners. In fact, the City Government increased their allowance as early as 2017 in recognition of their valuable and selfless efforts.
TAGBILARAN CITY’S BURIAL ASSISTANCE. The City Government of Tagbilaran has been consistent in its burial assistance program despite the pandemic. It should be remembered that this assistance was increased from Php5,000 to Php15,000. Aside from the burial assistance, the City Government regularly provides free medicines, free birthday cakes and cash gifts to senior citizens and PWDs, free infant vaccinations, free anti-rabies shots, and tuition fee subsidies.
