The total coronavirus disease (Covid) cases in Bohol have reached 106 based on the data released by the provincial capitol, today Sunday, August 9, 2020.
According to the data, there are 27 active Covid cases in Bohol.
The same data set reveals that there are 74 Covid patients that have recovered from the affliction.
On the other hand, the province has tallied five (5) Covid-related deaths, the data set further says.
The reports also say that there are a total of 10 active cases considered as community transmissions. This means that these cases are neither locally stranded individuals (LSI) nor overseas Filipino workers (OFW). These persons gidn’t also have any travel history to a place considered as a Covid hot spot.
In the latest press conference on Friday, August 7, 2020, Gov. Arthur Yap said that focus should be given to community transmission cases.
Based on the Capitol data, the active
community transmission cases are one (1) from Dauis, two (2) from Ubay, two (2) from San Miguel, one (1) from Bien Unido, one (1) from Talibon and three (3) from Sagbayan.
