Capitol info head corrects earlier report on Covid-positive patients from Bien Unido

Capitol information cluster head Kevin Damalerio sends a correction of an earlier report about the four (4) coronavirus disease (Covid)- positive patients from Bien Unido.

In a message sent to The Bohol Tribune on Sunday evening, August 9, 2020, Damalerio said that the four (4) new Covid cases are not products of the contact tracing done on the close contacts of the Bien Unido Covid patient who died. Rather, the new cases are products of the tracing done on the close contacts of the woman who gave birth to twins in the Don Emilio del Valle Memorial Hospital in Ubay town.

It was earlier reported that the four (4) new Covid cases are products of the contact tracing activities involving the close contact of the elderly Bien Unido resident from Malingin Island who died due to Covid.
