All people who are inside the premises of the Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) are required to wear face shields starting August 15, 2020.

In a public advisory issued on August 7, 2020, airport authorities said they will be requiring people inside MCIA premises to wear face shields.

Moreover, the advisory said this is in line with the memorandum released by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) requiring the wearing of face shields on all people who are boarding public transport.

The advisory said aside from face masks, all are required to wear face shields while inside the airport.
