Calape police is reportedly able to arrest a drug suspect following a buy bust operation in barangay Sta. Cruz.
The arrest happened on Sunday, August 9, 2020, a police report says.
The report revealed that the police identified the suspect as a certain John Vincent Arayan, 19, of barangay Ingod, Tubigon. The same report added that the suspect is a social amelioration program (SAP) beneficiary.
Moreover, Calape police with agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted the said buy bust operation, the report bares.
At least seven (7) plastic sachets containing suspected shabu were seized by the police, the report says.
The seized suspected drugs have a weight of 0.28 grams with a Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P1,904, the same report says.
The suspect is now under police custody and faces charges of violation of Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
